INDICATIONS
Flagyl ER can be used for treating certain bacterial infections of the vagina (bacterial vaginosis). Flagyl ER is an oral antiprotozoal and antibacterial. It is considered to work by entering the bacterial cell, performing on some components from the cell, and destroying the bacteria.
INSTRUCTIONS
Use Flagyl ER as directed from your doctor.

STORAGE
Store Flagyl ER at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Brief storage at temperatures between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. Store from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store inside the bathroom. Keep Flagyl ER out from the reach of children and away from pets.

Appetite loss; constipation; diarrhea; dizziness; headache; metallic taste; nausea; stomach upset; vomiting.
Seek medical assistance immediately if any of these severe unwanted side effects occur:
Severe allergies (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness inside the chest; swelling with the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bloody stools; decreased coordination; increased or decreased urination; numbness, tingling, or burning with the arms, hands, legs, or feet; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; seizures; severe diarrhea; severe or persistent dizziness or headache; sore throat, chills, or fever; speech problems; stiff neck; stomach pain or cramps; vaginal itching, odor, or discharge; vision loss and other vision changes; white patches inside mouth.
