Actos is employed for treating diabetes type 2 symptoms in some patients. It can be used as well as dieting and exercise. It could be used alone or to antidiabetic medicines. Actos can be a thiazolidinedione antidiabetic. It works by lowering blood sugar levels by causing cellular matrix of the body more responsive to the action of insulin.

Store Actos at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) inside a tightly closed container. Brief storage at temperatures between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted.
