INDICATIONS
Aldactone is utilized for treating swelling and fluid retention in patients with congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney problems (nephrotic syndrome). It is also employed for management of hypertension. It may also be employed to treat or prevent low blood potassium. It may also be employed to treat excess secretion with the hormone aldosterone through the adrenal gland. Aldactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic. It works by blocking the hormone aldosterone, causing the kidney to get rid of excess water, save potassium, minimizing hypertension.

STORAGE
Store Aldactone at room temperature, between 59 and 77 degrees F (15 and 25 degrees C), in a tightly closed container. Store far from heat, moisture, and light-weight. Do not store inside bathroom. Keep Aldactone out in the reach of youngsters and from pets.
