INDICATIONS
NOOTROPIL is indicated for patients being affected by myoclonus of cortical origin, no matter aetiology, and may provide along with other anti-myoclonic therapies.

Adults :
The dosage regime shows important interindividual variability, requiring an individualised dose finding approach. A reasonable protocol would be to introduce piracetam at a dosage of 7.2 g/day, increasing by 4.8 g/day every three or four days up to maximum of 20g/day, given in either several divided doses and other antimyoclonic drugs unchanged at their optimal dosage. If possible, determined by clinical benefit, a shot ought to be created to subsequently decrease the dosage of other antimyoclonic drugs.
